Do you want to become a professional cooking mama?

You have ambition and drive, and you are incredibly good at cooking. But how will you turn these qualities into becoming an entrepreneur in the food sector? Mama’s Koelkast Academy has taught mothers for the past nine years, and in each training course, you will learn everything you need to know as a powerful woman to start your own business. We will help you combine your ambitions and skills in the kitchen. Doing this allows you to share your authentic dishes with paying customers and clients!

In the 3-months-long training course, we will work through all the things you need to become an entrepreneur in the food sector. Besides classroom lessons, you will also work in an online learning environment and have individual guidance from our team and our experienced cooking mamas. We conclude the course with a final exam to put all the experiences and knowledge into practice. Founder Aaliyah will share her ten years of entrepreneurship experience and tell you about the pitfalls, do’s and don’ts and how to combine this with being a mother and mindfulness.

We give a lesson every week, in the morning, during school time, and you can choose between Tuesdays and Thursdays. Of course, we’ll take the school holidays into account!

The training course

After becoming acquainted with you and your business idea, you’ll follow lessons about the following topics:

• Catering orientation
• HACCP and food safety
• Entrepreneurship and finances
• Presentation, communication and marketing
• Creating a healthy and sustainable business

Besides this, there are also masterclasses by experts about:

• Legal cooking, the legal side of the business
• Hospitability, the art of being the host

There are also a few choice modules about themes, like:

• Giving cooking workshops
• Product development
• Cooking in a food truck

The result

After finishing the Academy, you will be ready to be an entrepreneur. You have a clear business concept, a business plan and a step-by-step plan for your goals in the future. After successfully finishing the exam, you’ll get a certificate from Mama’s Koelkast Academy, and you will be able to get your HACCP certificate through our training course.

After the training course, we will guide you through the sales market. Mama’s Koelkast will always be prepared to answer any questions and advice. You can also fulfil assignments with us to gain more experience in catering, the food truck, and during cooking workshops.
